Create Network Account¶
As a new NTU student, you will receive an NTU account (Network Account) and an associated email account (Email Account). For more information, please visit the official website.
The Network Account is used to access NTU's campus network, electronic services (such as iNTU, GSLink), online learning platform (NTULearn), library databases, and campus computers. The Email Account is used for logging into the email system and using Office 365 EDU services.
The following table lists the basic account information:

Important
- Network Account and Office 365 EDU Account passwords need to be set separately and are not synchronized
- Since November 1, 2022, Office 365 EDU Account requires two-factor authentication (2FA). Check the setup guide
- You must change the initial password before using any services
Account Registration¶
1. Visit the Network Account Registration Portal, enter your matriculation number and date of birth, click "Next"

2. Choose your preferred username, take a screenshot (it's not easy to find your username later), click register

3. After selection, you need to wait for 1 working day before the Network Account can be used normally

1. Visit the Password Change Page

2. Click "To change Network Account for STUDENT, STAFF or ASSOC, please click here"

3. Select "Student" for Domain, follow the requirements to change password
Security Reminder
- Please change your password in a secure network environment
- Account will be locked after 6 consecutive password errors
- Do not use the same password as other accounts
Change Email Account Password¶
- Visit Office 365 EDU Login Page
- Login with your complete email address (username@e.ntu.edu.sg)
- For first-time login, the system will prompt you to set a password
- If not prompted to change password, click your profile picture in the top right corner → "My Account" → "Security Info" → "Password"
- Follow the prompts to complete password change
Email Account Tips
- Since November 1, 2022, two-factor authentication (2FA) is required

- Recommended to use Microsoft Authenticator app for verification
Set up 2FA¶
Since November 1, 2022, all Office 365 EDU accounts must set up two-factor authentication (2FA). You can check the Official 2FA Setup Guide.



Important Notes
- If you change your phone, you need to set up the Authenticator app again
- Make sure you have recorded backup verification methods before changing phones
- If you encounter any issues, contact IT Service Desk
- If you forget your password, you can reset it through the Self-Service Password Reset Portal
