Health Screening

As part of the onboarding process for new students, all students must undergo a Pre-enrolment Medical Check-up prior to admission to determine their medical fitness to pursue the chosen programme of study at the University.

International students must complete a Pre-enrolment Medical Check-up, including an HIV test and a chest X-ray for Tuberculosis clearance, as part of the Student's Pass application process.

International students may complete the required Pre-enrolment Medical Check-up at any licensed medical clinic in their home country. The test results (translated in English) must then be endorsed by Raffles Medical for a fee to activate your student medical insurance. This endorsement must be completed before the start of your programme. If the report provided by the licensed medical clinic does not meet the requirements (e.g., X-ray image did not carry a label bearing the name of the student), Raffles Medical may charge for additional tests.

You are highly encouraged to have health screening done by any registered general practitioners in Singapore or at Raffles Medical @ NTU. Do bring the Health Screening Form (MC1) along with you to the registered general practitioners for the tests that are required. The completed Health Screening Form (MC1) and X-ray report should be submitted personally by hand to Raffles Medical as reports sent by mail might be lost in the process.

Mandatory Health Screening: The health screening is one of the mandatory steps in the Student's Pass application process. For NTU students, you MUST complete the health screening.

For Singapore Citizens & Singapore Permanent Residents

Students may complete the medical check-up at Raffles Medical clinics.

For International Students

Special note: All international students should upload the Medical Examination Report in their home country for early approval of student pass application. Ensure the medical report was issued within the last three months for it to be valid with ICA.
